Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of BillVoc, made by Huygen Labs. They are short and written for humans. By installing or using the app, you agree to them.
The service
BillVoc helps you create quotes and invoices, share or print them, and keep track of the payments you record. It works offline and keeps its records on your device. It is provided “as is”, and we may update, change or remove features over time.
No account, and who can use it
- BillVoc has no account and no login. There is nothing for you to keep safe on our side.
- You are responsible for your own device and for any backup file you create.
- You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age for digital consent in your country.
Your records
Everything you enter — your businesses, clients, items, quotes, invoices and payments — belongs to you. We never receive it. You choose whether and where to export it, and it is your responsibility to keep a backup of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Free and Pro
- Free covers one business and five issued invoices per calendar month. Drafts, quotes, payments, sharing, reports, CSV export and backup/restore are not limited.
- Pro is not yet purchasable. Until it is, the free-invoice counter is shown but not enforced, so no work is blocked.
- When Pro ships, it will be sold through Google Play at the price shown in the store. Payment, renewals and refunds will be handled by Google under its policies.
Acceptable use
Do not use BillVoc to break the law, to create documents for unlawful purposes, or to harm others. Do not attempt to disrupt or misuse the app.
Not tax, legal or accounting advice
This matters, so it is stated plainly. BillVoc is a calculation and document aid. It is not tax, legal or accounting advice. It does not check GSTINs, HSN/SAC codes, tax rates or place of supply, and it does not confirm that a document is a valid tax invoice under any law. It ships no tax-rate presets — the rates you see are the ones you entered yourself. If you are unsure what your invoices must contain, ask a qualified professional.
Payments are your record
The payments in BillVoc are what you recorded; BillVoc does not verify that money was received. A UPI QR code only pre-fills a payment in your client’s UPI app — it does not request, collect or confirm funds. “Cancelled” in BillVoc means cancelled in BillVoc; it is not a statutory cancellation or credit note.
No warranty
BillVoc is provided without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet every legal requirement for your business. You are responsible for checking your documents before you send them.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Huygen Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of BillVoc, including where a backup was not kept. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves. If a change is material, we will update this page and change the date above. Continuing to use BillVoc after a change means you accept the new terms.
