Privacy Policy

BillVoc is an offline billing app for people who work on site, made by Huygen Labs (“we”, “us”). It is built to keep your business records on your own phone, and this policy explains exactly what that means. Plain language, no surprises.

The short version

• No account. There is nothing to sign up for and no BillVoc login.
• No server. BillVoc makes no network calls from the app.
• No analytics, no ads, no tracking. We do not sell your data — we never see it.
• Your records stay on your device until you choose to share, print or back them up.

What BillVoc does not collect

There is no BillVoc account and no backend, so there is no data for us to collect, store or sell. The app does not ask for your email, phone number or contacts, and it contains no advertising or third-party tracking software. The Android release manifest requests no internet permission, so the app can function with the network off and has no way to send your records anywhere on its own.

What stays on your phone

• Your business records — businesses, clients, saved items, quotes, invoices, line items and payments — are stored in a SQLite database inside the app’s private storage, readable only by BillVoc.
• Your logo, if you add one, is saved as a file in the app’s private documents folder.
• Generated PDFs are written to a temporary folder so that sharing and printing can find them, and are cleaned up automatically after about 24 hours.

Uninstalling the app removes this data from the device. Because there is no copy anywhere else, please back up regularly.

Backups — when your data leaves the phone

BillVoc can export everything into a single versioned file. That file leaves your device only when you choose to send it — for example to a folder you pick, or into an app you share it with. Where it goes is entirely your decision, and it is your responsibility to keep that file safe and to store it somewhere you trust.

Payments and UPI

Payments you record are your own notes: they are what you tell BillVoc happened. When you set a UPI ID, BillVoc can put a QR code on an unpaid invoice, but that code only pre-fills a payment inside your client’s own UPI app. BillVoc does not request, collect, confirm or verify money, and it never sees your bank details or your client’s.

Purchases, when they ship

Pro is not purchasable yet. When it is, the purchase will be handled by Google Play, and Google will process the payment under its own privacy policy. BillVoc would only learn whether a Pro entitlement is active on your device; it would receive no card or billing details.

This website

These BillVoc pages are part of the Huygen Labs site, which is a static site. It sets no advertising cookies of its own. As shipped it runs no analytics; if we ever add privacy-friendly, aggregate usage measurement, we will say so here and you will be able to opt out. Children

BillVoc is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

Your control and your rights

• See your data — everything BillVoc holds is visible inside the app.
• Take it with you — export a full backup and a CSV at any time. This is free and always will be.
• Delete it — uninstalling the app deletes its data from the device. There is no remote copy for us to delete.

Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects this policy — for example, if optional cloud backup arrives — we will update this page and change the date above before that feature ships.
